Friday 22 June 2012: Look carefully...
... and you might spot a rainbow lorikeet or two or more.
The whole two trees were covered with them. They must like the little popping balls these trees produce.
I spent a day volunteering in the local community centre, which deals a lot with refugees and other people in need. It is a very humbling experience. Everybody I met today showed genuine care and commitment to the cause. It was so different than doing my everyday job i.e. helping people get richer.
