Hazy Daisies

It is another perfect early Autumn day today.  I should love to be out with my camera in this wonderful light but instead I am drying my laundry and cooking Mr L's lunch.

I have begun to play with the Bug Eye kaleidoscope. Last night's Smarties experiment was underwhelming so I wondered what would happen with a brightly-lit subject. These are the daisies by the front door, all but dead now but the kaleidoscope effect hides that fact.

There seems to be a lot of learning to do with this toy. I may try a portrait next. Not any time soon though. This afternoon will be dedicated to camera and lens cleaning activities.
