Wet Wednesday window

Awash

wet and wild
the world’s
awash
with wind
and splash
rainwater
drops
in torrents
straight
or sideways
pushed
the leaves
and blooms
dry ground
so parched
it gurgles
spits
and
chokes
on
lake
like
puddles
filling
spilling
pooled
on
streets
the
grass
all
sloppy
slick

For the Record,
This day came in with heavy, warm, humid air and absolutely torrential rain. We've been in a parched and drought-like state all through September. Of course now it's much too much rain all at once. The streets were flooded in places as we made our way to the train this morning. The train was running on time, surprisingly on T's line, but not on the one closer to the coast. This weather system could marry a might be hurricane forming on the south Atlantic coast. That would mean we could be in a lot of trouble in a few days. If all of that comes true, our drought will certainly be over, with new wet windy worries to ponder.

We are to expect an extreme temperature drop this evening as well as the humid air exits, probably to return again with the hurricane next week.

All hands healthy
