Saturday 23 June 2012: Fresh as a daisy....

We went to a wedding reception last night and finally rolled in at 130am - when I say rolled in, what I mean is that Simon bumped into the walls, stumbled about and I, soberly, got into bed and read my book for half an hour!

I figure it will be a slow day with not too much loud noises or banging.......I have been up since 7am, to work for an hour, and it is decidedly quiet upstairs now, at 930am.

A day of housework and catching up on stuff is most likely the case - a nice big dog walk at some point too. A warning to anyone near Tamworth - it is likely to rain as I have just put the washing on the line!

So, tonight is more socialising and boozing as we are off to our friends' for take out. Now, this friend is a terrible influence on me....she forces wine down me and then her husband makes THE best gin and tonics and MAKES me drink them until I start dancing in the kitchen. It is sheer hell and I wont enjoy it all.............
