More mussels than usual

There should be around 200 of them in this bag. I'm going to make a salad with them by cooking them, taking them out of their shells and marinading them in white wine, lemon juice, chopped sweet onion and herbs from the garden, an entrée for a lunch party with friends in their garden tomorrow. There'll be fourteen of us - I hope we've bought enough mussels! The others are making the main course of wild boar in sauce.

I was thrilled yesterday to hear that my self-portraiture assignment had been quite well reviewed by the Guardian for its Camera Club - you can see them here. I found it quite a challenge as it's not something I do very often, so I was pleased with their response.
