Saturday 23 June 2012: Hot Chocolate
It's my lovely niece Felicity's Birthday today so this blip is dedicated to her.
I almost blipped these roses the other day. I'm glad I didn't as today they look stunning, although still not nearing the radiant beauty of the Birthday Girl!

This variety is Hot Chocolate. The blooms are a very unusual red, which you can see, veering towards an orangey brown. Considering the foul weather and insect boom we've had this year they are incredible and, fingers crossed, should be disease resistant. Very heart lifting in a year when my garden is suffering from all that the heavens have thrown at it.
