Western General Hospital

A building more unlike Fettes College it would be difficult to imagine but this is the access to the current venue for the Clic Sargent Hospitals Choir Carol Concert rehearsals. 

Despite the widespread concern regarding the earlier start time, coupled with the known difficulty of parking facilities in the area, the usual gang, plus a few newcomers, gathered in the lecture theatre of the Medical Education Centre to discover what delights Neil Houston, our choir leader, has selected for the programme. Having seen the list I think this concert will be the best ever, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Earlier in the day I drove down to Innerleithen in pouring rain. In the extra photo the sharp-eyed will notice that a couple of apples have joined the stream of fallen leaves running down the gutters to the drain.
