Cartagena, Colombia

It's been weird getting used to dry land over the last few days but we've had a brilliant time in Cartagena. The heat during the day is scorching so thankfully our room has air-con. Our hostel is right beside the old town which is spectacularly beautiful and great to wander around. Mandy, Lori and Marina from the boat are also in our hostel and yesterday we visited the old fort and it's hidden tunnels.

The Copa America has just kicked off and the Colombians are fanatical about their football which has provided a great vibe. Each night we've met up with some of the people from our boat including the crew and we've gathered in Plaza de Trinidad where every night there is live music, entertainment, crowds of people and the best hamberguesa stand ever!!!

We could spend forever here which is making us very excited about the rest of Colombia! We head up north today to a small fishing town called Taganga.
