An Unkindness of Ravens

Bee season

Still not started going through my Tasmania photos yet...

A nicer temperature today and not windy, which is better for macro shots.

This is a little Lasioglossum Chilalictus calophyllae, I think –  a halyctid bee, enjoying the grevillea. Interesting to watch the native bees go to the ends of the stigma for pollen (as nature intended) and the much larger honey bees have to stick their heads in the petals higher up. An Australian native plant designed for an Australian native bee!
