The Terraces

We went walkabout through the central city in Christchurch yesterday afternoon.  Not the best light for photography, but interesting to see what a huge amount of building activity there is at the moment.  Still lots of empty spaces, and more buildings being demolished, but lots going on too.  We seem to have more cranes working than I have ever seen in the one place before.

The new Oxford Terrace development is progressing very well, and this is a view of the terraces that will connect the restaurants etc with the river.
