As this is a back-blip, I am happy to report that the apple is now stewed and in the freezer. The courgette has been magically transformed into a delicious courgette and pepper soup, which we enjoyed one evening in the coming week.

In other news, owing to a lack of homework progress with our new high school student Miss I, cycling was restricted to Miss C and I. 8 miles around Alton Water near Ipswich, with only one stop for a drink and ice cream.
