Letters from Home

Missed my blip yesterday. First miss in over 5 1/2 years. But I had a good reason.

While putting away and organizing in our new house, I started reading the letters that Lois had written to me during my six month trip to the Mediterranean Sea. 55 letters are shown here but there are more to be sorted.

While I was gone Lois went back to Cleveland to work. The letters tell about how she learned that she was pregnant with our first baby and his progress. She kept busy working, sewing, shopping, visiting relatives, and managing her life.

One of her most poignant phrases was "I miss you with all my 2 hearts"...

I forgot all about my blip for the day...
