Sunday 24 June 2012: Surprise
Whale watching cruise from Newcastle today. We went out to the 3 mile limit before we came across a mother and calf (I suspect). At first they were a bit shy and showed us their tails. Then all out of the blue they put on a display of breaches, fin slaps, spy holing, tail slapping and so on. I will put a link up to a few more on flickr. Best $60 I ever spent.
This one took me by surprise so it is not as focused as it could be. Pretty much SOOC. Hey Trisharooni, this one's for you! (I'm really guessing on the location here)
