An ordinary life....

Open Road...

Well yesterday went well and the sleepover was a success.

After a fun few hours at 10 pin bowling, the guys returned and after tea we had birthday cake, malteser slice and beer.  Well Andrew had the beer as he's 18 now (as he kept reminding me :-))  And eggy bread for supper.  Apparently I'm the world's best eggy bread maker.  There's just no start to my talents :D

Lights were out by midnight.  Not bad going.

Today has been fairly laid back.   Took Andrew to McDonalds for lunch then dropped him off at home.  D and I went to a Farm shop that's new to us.  Food was ok, nothing special but the service was really slow.  We gave up waiting to offer coffee and cake.  The shop was decent though and I bought Christmas decorations because the mountains of decs we already have won't be enough and a Christmas pressie.

Had a lovely drive home with lots of changing light but no time to stop and take photos so had to snap from the car.

Well it's finally happened, the Glasgow skyline has changed forever with the demolition of the infamous Red Road Flats.
