Comsumption

Destined for consumption
Condemned
By man's great presumption
That
All exists for his table
Created
Its freedom but a fable
Fed
In pastures green and grand
Slaughtered
By butcher's bloody hand
Hung
For all the appropriate days
Dismembered
In all the apporiate ways
Sold
In sacrificed bloody joints
Satisfying
All the tongue's finer points
Ending
With no consideration remaining
Forgotten
The sweet life that was its beginning
Once
Paraded as show's prime champion
Destined
Only for glutton's consumption
