Sunday 24 June 2012: Promising

Mum had a good night in terms of her health but didn't get much sleep due to the snoring lady in the next bed! Fortunately, the lack of sleep hasn't hindered her recovery - she was looking and behaving much more like herself today. I knew she was feeling better when she asked me to take a mirror to the hospital with me. She spent most of the three hours we were with her while Dad went home to feed and walk the dogs chattering away. Her temperature, BP and oxygen levels had normalised too, so she should be discharged tomorrow, barring any change overnight, which is very promising news indeed.

I noticed the buds on the agapanthus plants when we returned from the hospital, and went out to count them. There are 13 at the moment, all closed up and also full of promise.
