Tuesday 19 June 2012: Turkey Burgers
Today I visited Fountain House, the first ever ICCD Clubhouse and the largest in the world. I got to work in the Clerical Unit, where the clubhouse newspaper and literary magazine are produced. For lunch, my Clerical Unit mentor, a member about my age, took me to the Culinary Unit to eat homemade turkey burgers. I was pretty excited, but my lunch date wasn't really a turkey fan. He was however, a fan of Fountain House, so during lunch, he told me his story and what makes this place so special. According to him, it's definitely the people.
