Sunday 24 June 2012: Dock Life
Ten households, ten opinions, ten styles and today they all came together for an amazing 4 hours of hard work on the uplands, on the split and needing to be replaced dock boards, on new grating to overcome the slippery mossy boards under the huge willow tree that is in the distance and lovingly shades us in an already damp climate. But we love our tree. And then a potluck picnic at a wider spot on the dock. Our new dock baby, the only child now and my adopted baby, is a pure delight.
