Another busy day at the festival so once more I've been unable to catch up with you guys. Good news is my first film is at 4pm tomorrow, soooo the morning is officially catch up!

Day Four
Friends The third film in the Shinji Somai retrospective tells the story of three friends who befriend an old man and delve into his past in this bittersweet feel good movie of friendship across generations. See this if you liked: Stand By Me or Kiki's Delivery Service.
Lost Chapter of Snow The fourth film in the Shinji Somai retrospective tells the story of an orphan girl taken in and raised by a young man. A murder mystery, coming of age drama and love story rolled into one. See it if you liked: First Love or April Story.
Exit Elena Micro budget drama from the US. Elena is hired by a family as a live in nursing assistant for their aging mother. Filmed using the director's family and friends gives this film a documentary feel. See this if you liked: Grizzly Man
Jackpot Norwegian black comedy drama. When a four man syndicate win the football pools greed takes over. See this if you liked: The Usual Suspects, Fargo or The Ice Harvest.
