Spring Blossom

A gorgeous morning with an hour to spare wandering around the gardens at Mona Vale in Christchurch. Rhododendrons and Azaleas were in flower along with cherry blossom trees along the Avon River but it was the delicate lime-green blossom from the Tabletop Elm - Ulmus glabra 'Hortizontalis' against the blue sky which took my eye today. Many times I've seen these trees and thought I must blip the blossom, it's taken five Springs for me to get-around-to-it!!

My extra is the cherry blossom and some men in the distance clearing the river.

Otherwise a fairly quiet day at home catching up with a few jobs, great way to ease into the week.

Happy Monday everyone :)
