'The new President opened the window'

It has only happened a few times, but today was one of those times. You take a photo early on in the day and then the story happens later on and you can tie the two together :-)

Luxors West Bank awoke to the first day with Mr Mursi as President and it started as a fresh and windy one. (Which I have always felt were the ancient Pharoahs showing their discontent/content with the land they lie in and we now inhabit) The wind created a wonderfully clear light carrying such vibrant colours.

Combine this with the happiness and contentment of the people today on the street as I cycled around and you cannot help but smile at how this magical place can make you feel if you open your heart and breathe deeply.

Every man, woman and child, either waved the Egyptian flag, tooted their horns, shouted Mursi or simply said 'Welcome to Egypt' The energy was electrifying and the current flowed through all that passed by me.

On the flip side of this momentous day, there was a slight negative, but the wonders of Luxor have turned it into a positive turning point. That will be shared later.

The 3rd positive thing was an e-mail I just received from Eric at StringFly.com pushing out my Blip from yesterday. Thanks Eric.

What is the 2nd positive thing you may be asking? Simply friends....thanks to those who always are there, you know who you are.

So as one door closes another opens and as a friend said today when disussing the wind 'The new President has opened the window' I totally love that profound statement!
