Monday 25 June 2012: On the Lash
We intended to head to Sanda Island right at the tip of the Mull of Kintyre, but having made good speed we decided to head to on Arran, giving us a shorter day tomorrow to sort out the guff. The winds dropped so the engine gave us a bit of assistance but it was still 12 hours, leaving us short of anywhere to eat in the metropolis that is Lamlash. Gorgeous place to sail into, mind.
Anyway, the barmaid phoned the Chinese takeaway in Brodick and turned a blind eye while we hungrily devoured it. And I did order an Arran Blonde but apologised before she could roll her eyeballs. See us sailors!
