Penguin Droppings

By gen2

Autumn Magic.

It was dull today so I went looking for colour in the woods but it was even duller there.  No tripod with me, and with exposure times for most of my shots under 1/25th second, I had to resort to pressing the camera against tree trunks and fence-posts for most of them.

This is actually a combination of two images.
1) an obliging leaf that lay still on the ground.
2) a 1/15th second exposure of bubbles flowing away after a burn had flowed over a rock and dropped a few feet.
The whole has been rotated 90 degrees.
