I wanna see the sunshine after the rain

Apologies to Elkie Brooks.
It hasn't actually rained much today. In fact as we walked round the garden we were surprised to see raindrops on the plants. I took some good shots of campanula and a rose that can only be described as raspberry ripple; they will have to wait for another day because this is my favourite. Rain drops on the leaf of alchemilla mollis. I love the way the water is held on this plant and I think this has caught the droplets, light and the veins of the leaf really well.
It is also known as Lady's Mantle and according to Wikipedia "The plant is often grown as a ground cover, and is especially valued for the leaves in wet weather, as the water beads and sparkles on the leaves. This is due to the remarkable dewetting properties of the leaves, whereby the contact force between the water and the leaf is so disfavoured that a thin layer of air penetrates the solid-liquid interface. These beads of water were considered by alchemists to be the purest form of water. They utilised this water in their quest to turn base metal into gold. Hence the name Alchemilla."
