Britain's Greatest Ever Summer

Wonder how many people have laughed at this one this evening, as the rain pours down again in Edinburgh? Wet and miserable, returning across town from playing football in the rain. Taxis splash by with headlights on, drenching the pavement with gutter puddles. Umbrellas up, people make their way home from a late finish at work. Picked up food for tea at our other new local supermarket - it will be a steaming plate of cottage pie and peas. Shouldn't it be salads in June?
