Stanley and I have had an afternoon of watching Wimbledon and catching up on yesterday's play. We were both surprised at Venus' departure, and Stanley had to keep checking the score as he couldn't believe it.
Apparently this quote from the poem 'If' is inscribed above the player's entrance to Centre Court at Wimbledon. Perhaps this is where Venus went wrong. At least Rafa and Andy are through today.
