Mist in the Morning

The sun made a brave attempt to brreak through this morning but the mist won in the end. This shot wasn't taken from down on the ground but is,in fact, the top of the maize in a nearby field.  Tsk tsk farmer.

A long day in the office getting home just in time to watch some pottery bake off style programme.  Learnt and interesting fact that the word throwing in pottery has nothing to do with lobbing clay at the wheel but instead is a derivative of and old english word for twisted - thrawan. Very similar to a descriptive scottish word for an individual who has an unpleasant, stubborn or twisted disposition. - thrawn
