Wild Rose

The June wild roses are just stunning this year. The light was dull all day but up by the pond I got a little glimmer in time to take this. Harvey planted them along with honeysuckle to cover the bird hide our son built for our birthdays several years ago, the subject of previous blips. Just before we leave for pastures new, the hide is hidden, the wind break of wild cherries is breaking wind shielding us from the wind, and the wild flower plugs we planted have all grown profusely in the pond's edge. It's a riot of wonderful growth up there, but maybe none so pleasing as this little rose.
