Wednesday 27 June 2012: Top Rankin
According to Ian Rankin, this is the Murdo McLeod approach: get behind the subject everyone else is photographing and photograph the photographers. But Murdo probably didn't suffer from a photographer making you look like an arse photographing the subject's arse.
But he was a top subject, and I'm really grateful to him for agreeing to being flashed and snapped by the press and a gaggle of Blippers. But this is just the start of his involvement... all of which will be revealed at midnight tonight.
It's all very exciting!
