In the rain. Kosmo, my brother's dog, provided us with the motivation to venture out despite heavy showers. Then a trip to Crail Pottery to collect a plate he'd commissioned. A wander round Cellardyke for a while when it cleared up in the afternoon, to deliver some chocolates to our gardener after the end of the season. Fireworks at the Ship Inn, Elie, this evening, then back to Crail for a lovely meal at the newly re-opened East Neuk Hotel.
