Tuesday 26 June 2012: Ye Gods....
...of Scottish Weather. Fowl contemptuous, cantankerous buggers that ye are.
An early start to finish some work ahead of my trip to London tomorrow, before a half day holiday to prepare for my final school BBQ as co-ordinator. 500 burgers in 2 hours is the deal, so being prepared is essential. Good weather makes the whole machine function smoothly.
Monday was a cracking day with the temperature gauge hitting 20C, today until 5pm was cracking too and then.........mizzle, then dreichness and finally lumps of the wet stuff. 500 damp people crammed into the school for the second year running.....bugger. However, it would appear that people enjoyed themselves nonetheless and the number of soaked to the skin kids splashing happily in huge puddles told its own story.
Phew, late to bed and up at 5am for my flight. I'm pooped.
