Farewell drink tonight for Ashley Voy who actually left the civil service several months ago and is now happily working as a beauty therapist in Tranent and looking after her wee daughter Summer.

She was my diary secretary when I was Environment Minister and Scott Sutherland - on the left here - was my Private Secretary. Scott is now the award winning marketing man for my "smarter" portfolio.

They are both stars to whom I remain eternally grateful for all their work , help and support over 21 good months when we also had quite a lot of fun!
