Remembrance Sunday

As usual I played the Last Post at Keighley's Remembrance Day parade. Mum and dad came down to watch , and as dad's uncle Bill was killed in 1915 his name was one of the ones read out today. Very moving.

This is mum and aunty A after the service, their grandfather was killed in the 14-18 war . He was from Sheffield rather than keighley, which made me wonder if other towns and city's are doing something similar, with regard to reading individual names out.

Would have been my grandad's 119th birthday today, he was a survivor of the 14-18 war, who equally should be remembered
