Derelict Donkey

Not what I intended to blip for Derelict Sunday but I think this poor donkey, that the girls and I came upon when out walking qualifies. No longer loved and cared for, it's hooves  were so overgrown that it could hardly walk and it's spine was crooked possibly as a result of years of trying to get about on those feet! Sadly there are a few donkeys around that are left to run with cattle as there is a belief that this prevents the cattle getting the decease redwater. On a brighter note it was very happy to have some strokes from Rachel.
I will phone the donkey sanctuary tomorrow and see if it can be helped.
