Windfalls

The birds have been making the most of the remaining apples and I spotted these when we got back from Exeter this afternoon.

With Yeovil's FA Cup game away to Maidstone later I expected to have to use them to make comments about Maidstone who, despite being a couple of leagues below us, have been in much better form than us lately, making the most of the cracks and holes in our defence.

However, for once this season, Yeovil gave the fans something to cheer. Despite having two players sent off ( one only 7 minutes into the game) we managed to win 1-0, thanks to a tremendous defensive display. You have to make the most of windfalls such as this.

Hopefully this will give us some confidence and impetus for the rest of the season.

We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the hotel this morning after last night's 'do', with my sister, brother-in-law, niece and her family and have spent the afternoon suffering the tensions of the FA Cup and catching up on yesterday's Strictly.
