a complement to this day at camp last week.

these kids really opened up today. they are mostly boys and have been hard to engage and get excited. but today (a mere second after this) they were able to have some fun with explosions and it was certainly worth it.

kids are fascinating. no barriers, not afraid, honest and loving with a full heart. similar thoughts to last week.

why do we grow out of it? i suppose it is because we start to get hurt - to fear that hurt and close up. it's a pity.
