Wednesday 27 June 2012: Backyard Beauty
The Swallowtail is now a frequent visitor in our backyard. I am amazed at how fast these butterflies can move! It comes sailing in, visits the heliotrope, and then with seemingly a few flaps of his pretty wings, he is in the trees and quickly out of sight. I am fascinated by these big, bold butterflies. I feel lucky to see these in our yard, but I do lament the fact that we have precious few varieties visiting our flowers. That's just the way it is.
A gorgeous day in the neighborhood today. A perfect 5 star sunny, warm day. Clouds tomorrow, but it will remain somewhat warm.
Gotta go on our walk now. See you guys later. Hope it's been a 5 star day where ever you are.
