Keeping cool

Part of the newly decorated façade of our village shop, where we buy almost all of the food we don't grow ourselves. We're very lucky to have such a good shop, just 50 metres from our house, run by a young imaginative and enthusiastic couple, the daughter and son-in-law of a friend of ours. I don't usually like to see air-conditioning units (at home we use the shutters and thick walls to keep the house cool in the traditional way) but they're necessary for a food shop and this one is nicely hidden behind the newly painted grille.
