Thursday 28 June 2012: Chores today...
.... although not before a nice if unaccustomed long lie-in. While the young ones slept on (they can sleep for England, just like other not-so-young persons of my acquaintance), I evicted some ants and swept the terrace of these drifts of bougainvillea bracts and other debris, and washed the garden furniture. Made lunch, watered the pot plants and washed up, and now I'm totally whacked with the heat - over 30C. Trying to keep my head out of the sun as I can't afford to fry the meagre brains I have left...
