Meadow Foal

On my way to the school pic-up I took a minor diversion into Tong Park to see the horses.  Since I was last here a couple of months ago the summer growth has taken over. The paths are fringed with four foot nettles, he pasture has become a meadow and the horses have foaled.  On the moor, I saw my first Meadow Brown butterflies of the year.

It looks like my year ago blip was when I first encountered Open Plaques, since when I've found it impossible to visit a different town or city without trying to add to the plaque collection.
