Doing it the hard way.

My neighbour is building a car - probably the first car built in Argyll in many years and likely the first ever in Cowal. 

And not just any car but a Caterham 7,  which he has chosen to assemble  himself before he races it in the Caterham Academy .

The boxes arrived two weeks ago and this weekend he has been hard at work in his garage very ably supported , advised and assisted by some of his fellow Tartan Tarmac directors and enthusiasts.  

Cathleen and I walked down in the thick low cloud and pouring rain to see what has happening today and it was an amazing  and unique sight.  Some of the shapes and details were very much worth blipping too, hence my extra photographs.
