Thursday 28 June 2012: Outside
A much better day at work. The emails were banged out. Front foot stuff. I'm on it.
This meant an evening of activity. Yes. First up, Bert's Bar for their famed pie meal. Next up, the Cameo to see Angel's Share. Next next up, Italy tanking our old chums, the Germans. And then a trip to the Diggery Dog Dogs where Kevin had laid on free whiskies!!! Dalmore 15 year old amongst them.
Which takes me back to Angels Share. I was expecting a bit broad brush and cheesy, but I thought it a whole lot better than that. It was good to set the scene early in with real menace to shut up the braying Edinburgh sorts. After that, it was enjoyable and captivating - and what's wrong with feel good, anyway?
