In search of a blip

Yes, needing a blip, I headed down to the Dower House in Corstorphine, which was built in 1587.

In 2000 The Corstorphine Trust, a charity who now look after the building, decided to change the name of the building to the Corstorphine Heritage Centre which better reflects the use to which it is put today.

The Trust is very aware of its responsibilities concerning this building and it is true to say that it has also now become a focal point for concerts, private functions and community groups. Very much the beating heart of village life.

I hope you have all had a good Monday all.
