i know - flowers....(weeds!)
...but these poppies - beautiful white adn mauve - were growing wild in a scruffy back lane. It's a lane that's once been gardens of houses long since knocked down. I thought they were just such unlikely plants to be thriving here - not tough thick-stemmed hardy things - but delicate. Taken a bit of a battering withthe rain and the wind though.
going girly again. it's got to stop.
