An evening out

This evening we went out to the garden centre - not to look at plants - or the Christmas display - but to see and hear Carol Klein give a talk on her new book "Making a Garden."
Those of you who watch Monty Don on Gardeners World will know who I mean!!
We enjoyed a drink and delicious nibbles before taking our seats. Carol was an amusing and most informative speaker, and I managed a quick chat with her as she signed a copy of her book for me at the end of the evening! Very exciting to meet a very famous, expert horticulturalist!
