The Moving Day

Today the magnificent trio (Ace, Socrates, and The Mouth) helped us move all the huge and heavy pieces from our faculty housing unit to the new house. These amazing gents, more friends now than ex-students, pulled up to the house, each in their huge pick-up track (I've never been more grateful for these un-sustainable modes of transportation), and loaded the stuff up. Joking was aplenty, as Socrates is with his girlfriend no more, The Mouth just got engaged, and Ace will no doubt follow soon. Husband Dear wasn't of much physical help as he threw out his back at the construction site at the Museum, but he did a fine job directing traffic :-)

What a day!
