Sushi...

We had to say goodbye to Sushi here today.

She was very old but combination of thyroid, kidney and heart issues meant it was kinder to put her down than put her through treatments that would ultimately just made things worse.

It's nice to remember her as the way she was and I definitely miss her wee sleeps on my stomach for the first half hour of bedtime.

Wee words to remember her with:
Coming up and sitting on me at each kids bedtime story.
Attacking hands with claws as a kitten.
Stepping on the hotplate as a kitten.
Growing into her ears.
Getting disorientated in the hallway and complaining about it loudly.
