Thursday 28 June 2012: mumpit
A few days of extra wailing during a noticeable period of increased snottingness resulted in Edgar being sent home today after forgetting the no-vomiting-at-nursery rule. He then proceeded to me mostly fine for the rest of the day, except for some waking and wailing after he'd gone to sleep which eventually resulted in being sick again, possibly as much due to the amount of toast he'd acquired during the evening as anything affecting his insides. As he hasn't done it for a while we didn't correctly anticipate that the pre-vomit wailing might have betokened incipient vomiting, but there wasn't much of it and none of it went on his monkey, fortunate when the spare had been left at nursery after he decided he was taking it there this morning.
