Friday 29 June 2012: Rise up Mowing
Nora Jones - Summertime
We are experiencing a recording-breaking heat wave. It was 102° Fahrenheit today. My partner Kathy, in preparation for having weekend guests, wanted to tidy the lawn. To avoid working outside when the heat index was at its highest, she began mowing around 6:30 am. Tomorrow is expected to be even warmer. We hope our friends who are coming from further north can tolerate the blistering conditions.
