Saturday 30 June 2012: The great reveal
I know, I've taken this picture before. But that was slightly later in the year with more light falling on the Crags and perhaps less direct light on the Castle. And this particular reveal, as you come around Arthurs Seat on the high road, is always worth repeating.
This was taken on an early morning cycle ride before sitting all day in a conference. On federalism, as it happens. It's arguable that weekend conferences should be banned. But if it forces me to get off my backside and do a decent little cycle straight after breakfast, then I'll give it a go.
